True Lift Garage Doors

The visit, step by step

What to expect
when we arrive.

What we'll look at. What we'll show you.
When you'll know the price.

A clear explanation before a decision. Here's how a visit with True Lift works, from the first conversation to the final check.

If you haven't booked yet

No charge to come out.

From first contact to final check

Understand the problem.
Choose the next step.

We explain what we find and the practical options. You approve the work before it starts.

  1. Get in touch.

Tell us what the door is doing.

Won’t open, won’t close, a new noise or a sudden bang? You don’t need to know which part failed. Tell us what changed and when you noticed it.

Your appointment is not confirmed until Housecall Pro shows or sends a confirmation.
  2. Inspect & explain.

    See what we find.

We inspect the door and opener, including the springs, cables, rollers, hinges and tracks. Then we show you what needs attention and explain why.

  3. Options & price.

Know the work. Know the cost.

There's almost always more than one way to fix a door. We'll show you all of them. Each option comes with its price and what that price includes.

  4. You decide.

The next step is your call.

No pressure. No sales tactics. Ask questions, talk it through at home, or take some time to think. You choose the work you want us to carry out.

    Take the time you need.
  5. Complete & check.

    We do the agreed work.

Every part we install is new. We never reuse parts. When the work is done, we check the system’s operation and walk you through what we did before wrapping up.

A clear price

If the price changes,
we talk first.

You'll know what it costs before we start. If we find something that changes the price, we stop and re-quote.

No hidden fees.

No charge to come out.
No after-hours fee. No emergency fee.

What that means
in your garage.

If we uncover something beyond the agreed work, we explain what we found and how it affects the repair.

We give you the revised options and price. You decide whether to approve the additional work before we proceed.

A change in the work means another conversation.

A little preparation.
No troubleshooting.

These are helpful suggestions, not conditions of service. You don't need to diagnose or repair anything before we arrive.

  • A little room to work.

If it’s safe, clear a path inside the garage so we can reach the door and tracks. Don’t move a vehicle through a suspect door.

  • Controls within reach.

Have the remotes handy and know where the wall control is. There’s no need to keep testing a door that isn’t working.

  • Keep everyone in the loop.

Let whoever will be home know about the visit. Keep children and pets away from the work area.

  • Any repair history helps.

A previous repair receipt or an idea of the door’s age can be useful. If you don’t have those details, that’s fine.

What we bring

Common parts.
New, every time.

We carry the common parts on the truck. Every part we install is new. We never reuse parts.

If your door needs something we don't carry, we explain that with the options and price before you decide how to proceed.
