True Lift Garage Doors (“True Lift,” “we,” “us” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and disclose personal information when you visit our website, contact us, request garage door service or book an appointment.
Information you provide
When you contact us or request service, we collect the information you choose to provide. This may include your name, phone number, email address, preferred contact method, city or ZIP code, service address, the service you need and a description of the problem. If you send photos or other details about your garage door, those become part of your inquiry.
We use your city or ZIP code to check service availability. A service address and additional details may be needed to arrange and complete a visit. Optional information is identified on our request form. You can choose not to provide information, but we may be unable to respond or arrange service without the details needed for your request.
Please do not send payment-card details, identification documents, passwords or garage access codes through a general website inquiry or text message.
Website and advertising data
We use Google Analytics to understand website visits and interactions, and Google Ads and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) advertising tools to measure campaigns and reach audiences. These technologies can collect IP addresses, browser and device details, pages viewed, referral information, interactions with links or buttons, and cookie or advertising identifiers.
We share website activity with Google and Meta through advertising pixels or similar technologies. We also upload customer contact information, including email addresses and phone numbers, to advertising platforms for customer matching, audience creation and campaign measurement. This allows the platforms to associate customer information with their users and support advertising. These advertising disclosures are separate from the information needed to schedule and perform your service.
You can opt out of our use of your information for advertising-related sharing or customer-list audiences by calling or texting 435-900-4557 and asking for an advertising privacy opt-out. Include the phone number or email address associated with your records so we can identify the information concerned. You can also use the platform controls linked below.

How we use information
We use contact and service information to respond to questions, confirm availability at your address, discuss repair or installation options, prepare estimates, schedule visits, carry out requested work and communicate about your service.
We also use information to maintain customer and service records, resolve questions about completed work, administer our business, protect against misuse and meet applicable legal obligations. Website and advertising information helps us understand which pages and campaigns lead to inquiries and improve how people find our services.
Online booking and customer records
We use Housecall Pro for online booking and customer records. When you select Book Online, you leave our website and continue to True Lift’s scheduling page on Housecall Pro. Information you provide there may be made available to us to arrange and manage your service.
Housecall Pro also handles information under its own privacy policy. Review that policy before entering information on its platform. This policy describes True Lift’s practices and does not replace Housecall Pro’s disclosures.
Calls and recordings
We use WhatConverts for call tracking and record business calls. Call records can include caller and receiving numbers, call time and duration, the source of an inquiry and the recording of your conversation. Recordings may contain your voice, contact details and information about your service request.
We use this information to follow up on inquiries, maintain a record of service conversations and understand which advertising leads to calls. This policy does not replace any notice or consent required when a call is recorded.
If you do not want to participate in a recorded call, end the call and contact us by text instead. Text messages are also retained as communications; they are not an anonymous contact method. Please share only the information needed to discuss your request.
Texts and contact preferences
When you call, text or request service, we use the contact details you provide to respond and communicate about that request. Your preferred contact method helps us reach you. A service inquiry does not automatically subscribe you to marketing texts or emails; marketing communications require separate consent.
You can ask us to stop texting you or to use a different contact method by replying to the conversation or contacting us at 435-900-4557. If an automated message provides an unsubscribe instruction, follow that instruction for that message program. Carrier message and data rates may apply. Booking-platform messages may also have their own communication settings.
How information is disclosed
Our owners and people who assist with your request may access the information needed to respond and perform the work. We use service providers to support customer records, booking, communications, website operation and business administration. They receive information relevant to the functions they perform.
Advertising-related disclosures are described above. We may also disclose information when required by law or a valid legal process, to protect people or property, or to investigate misuse of our services. If you ask us to send information to another person or business, we may disclose the information needed to carry out your request.
Cookies and your browser
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Pixels and similar technologies can send information about website visits or interactions to the company operating the technology. We use these technologies with our analytics and advertising tools.
You can use your browser’s settings to block or delete cookies. Blocking cookies can affect some website features, and clearing cookies may also remove saved preferences. Settings generally apply to the browser or device where you make the change, so you may need to adjust them on each device you use.
For questions about the tools used on our website or choices that are not available through your browser, contact us using the details below.
How long information is kept
We keep personal information for a defined purpose and apply the following retention schedule to records we control, including records held by service providers on our behalf.
Call recordings: deleted within 90 days of the call. Any essential service details needed after that period are kept as a written service record rather than by retaining the full recording.
Inquiries that do not become jobs: contact details, messages and estimates are deleted within 12 months after the last meaningful contact about the inquiry.
Completed jobs and financial records: estimates, approvals, invoices, payment history and essential service records are kept for seven years after the job is completed or the final payment is received, whichever is later. The shorter 90-day limit still applies to the original call recording.
We may retain specific records longer when required by law or necessary for an active dispute, legal hold or an existing warranty obligation. We limit that exception to the records needed and delete them when the reason for the extension ends, unless another retention requirement applies.
We keep only the information needed to document privacy requests, consent and opt-out preferences for as long as needed to honor those choices and meet applicable requirements. An opt-out record is not used to keep marketing to you. Other information is deleted or de-identified when it is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was collected.
You can request deletion sooner by calling or texting 435-900-4557. We will act on valid requests and explain any applicable exception. Information a provider holds independently for its own purposes is also subject to that provider’s policy; our retention schedule governs the records under our control.
Protecting information
We use administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect the personal information we handle. No website, storage system or method of sending information is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If you believe information shared with True Lift has been accessed or used improperly, contact us promptly. Do not include sensitive account credentials or payment information in your message.
Your choices and privacy requests
You can call or text 435-900-4557 to request access to your personal information, correct it, request deletion, change communication preferences or opt out of advertising-related sharing and customer-list audience use. Tell us that you are making a privacy request and provide the phone number or email address associated with your service records.
We may need to verify your identity or authority before releasing, correcting or deleting records. Do not send identification documents or sensitive information unless we explain why they are necessary and how to provide them securely. We will use request details to locate records, verify the request when needed and respond.
We handle requests in accordance with applicable law and explain any reason we cannot fulfill all or part of a request. Depending on where you live and which laws apply, additional rights may be available, including a copy of information, limits on certain processing or a review of a denied request. Contact us if you disagree with a response or want to ask about those rights.
An advertising opt-out does not prevent service-related communications or erase records needed to perform work you requested. Browser or platform advertising settings may need to be changed separately on each device.
Other websites
Our website includes links to services such as Housecall Pro and Google. When you visit another website or use its features, that provider’s privacy practices apply to information it collects. We do not control those websites. Review their policies and privacy settings before sharing information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services, information practices or legal obligations change. We will update the last-updated date on this page. Where applicable law requires additional notice or consent for a change, we will provide that notice or obtain that consent.
